Last month was just too hectic to spread the word of Toast - new projects, new clients and post-christmas detox got in the way - Sorry. However, the hangover's finally faded and it's back to normal at Toast Design. January's been a blur this year and we've been very busy on some tasty new projects to kick off '06.
First and foremost we'd like to introduce you to a new member of the Toast Team, Ian Denny. Ian has been creating major exhibitions and events all over the world for the past 25 years and joins Toast as Non-Executive Chairman. See the Toast news below for more information.
2006 begins the countdown to Toasts' 10th Birthday - there'll be plenty happening in the months to come, so watch this space for some exciting, project-enhancing goodies!

10th Anniversary logo -
Centre for High Performance Development
CHPD have been developing leadership skills in high performance individuals for 10 years, and to celebrate this, CHPD commissioned Toast to design a commemorative logo. It will be placed on all promotional material, emails, presentations and other media.
City Inter-Rent Website
City Inter-Rent, a London-based luxury vehicle hire firm, have been working with us to redesign their website. The site includes content managed areas to enable updates and additions to the site. All this is done via a web browser and supported by a database. We designed the admin functions so that changes can be made instantly and easily. Toast also manage and host the website.

Re-branding
We've just re-branded corporate catering firm Restaurants at Work.
Harley-Davidson
Toast have recently started working with Harley-Davidson Europe and for our first commission we've designed and printed 44,000 A4 price-lists for their South African market.

We put together some pretty funky postcards for OCVC as part of an ongoing campaign.

Toast welcome Ian Denny to our creative kitchen! Ian has worked with Toast for over 5 years as a client, and he's now joined us as part of the team. A few words from the man himself ...
"As non-executive chairman, I'm adding some conventions of commerce to the recipe to strengthen and develop the Toast brand over the next 5 years.
Toasts' success is mainly due to innovative design and spontaneous creativity. There are clients who should know that Toast is not only high quality but, in these days of scrutinised budgets, very competitive. My job will be to inform businesses that this is so.
On a practical front we are now offering some further expertise in face to face marketing such as road shows, exhibitions and presentations.
I look forward to reporting regularly on how the Toast evolution will continue!"

The Toast Christmas Get-together was a success, with many clients dropping by for a glass (or two) of wine. Thanks to all that turned up, and to those that couldn't make it - we'll see you at the next one!
